Vice President of Product Management
About the Role
The Vice President of Product Management will lead the company’s overall product management strategy, product portfolio, and product organization, with responsibility for translating business objectives and customer needs into differentiated, scalable, and commercially successful products.
This executive will define product vision and strategy, establish product management processes, build high-performing product teams, and oversee the development and evolution of the company’s product portfolio. The role requires strong strategic judgment, customer orientation, commercial awareness, and the ability to balance long-term product vision with disciplined execution.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive leadership experience in product management, product strategy, technology, financial services, fintech, enterprise software, or a related field, with a proven ability to lead complex product organizations and deliver measurable business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Product Strategy & Vision
Define and execute the company’s overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Align product priorities with business objectives, market opportunities, and customer needs.
Evaluate product portfolio opportunities and establish strategic investment priorities.
Anticipate market trends, competitive developments, and emerging customer requirements.
Product Portfolio Management
Lead the development, prioritization, and lifecycle management of the company’s product portfolio.
Establish frameworks for product planning, prioritization, investment, and resource allocation.
Evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for optimization, expansion, or new product development.
Ensure product decisions are supported by customer insights, market intelligence, and business data.
Product Development & Execution
Establish effective product development processes from concept through launch and ongoing improvement.
Partner with Engineering, Technology, Design, Operations, and other teams to deliver product initiatives.
Establish clear product requirements, milestones, priorities, and success metrics.
Balance speed, quality, scalability, risk, and commercial objectives throughout the product lifecycle.
Customer & Market Insights
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, pain points, and expectations.
Establish structured approaches for gathering and incorporating customer feedback.
Translate customer and market insights into product opportunities and strategic priorities.
Ensure products deliver meaningful customer value and differentiated market positioning.
Product Organization & Leadership
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing product management organization.
Establish organizational structures, roles, responsibilities, and performance standards.
Recruit, develop, and retain strong product leaders and product management talent.
Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Product Performance & Business Outcomes
Establish KPIs and performance frameworks for product adoption, engagement, revenue, retention, and customer value.
Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve business results.
Partner with Finance and commercial teams to evaluate product economics and investment decisions.
Hold the product organization accountable for measurable business and customer outcomes.
Cross-Functional & Executive Leadership
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, and other functions.
Align product strategy with broader company strategy and commercial objectives.
Communicate product priorities, trade-offs, opportunities, and risks to executive leadership.
Serve as a senior product advisor and strategic partner to the executive team.
Qualifications
Extensive leadership experience in product management, product strategy, technology, financial services, fintech, enterprise software, or a related function.
Proven ability to develop and implement product strategies that align customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.
Demonstrated experience building, leading, and developing high-performing product management teams.
Strong understanding of product strategy, product lifecycle management, roadmap development, product discovery, and commercialization.
Experience establishing product management processes, operating frameworks, prioritization models, and performance management systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use customer insights, market data, and business metrics to make informed product decisions.
Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and collaborate effectively with Engineering, Technology, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Success, Risk, Finance, and other business functions.
Strong strategic thinking, business judgment, product leadership, and operational execution capabilities.
Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organization-wide product initiatives in complex and evolving environments.
Ability to balance long-term product vision with hands-on execution, prioritization, and operational accountability.
Strong commitment to customer value, product excellence, innovation, continuous improvement, and measurable business performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred; an advanced degree is a plus.

Compensation Range
Base Salary: To be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and overall compensation structure.
