Position: Senior Emulation Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Emulation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in pre-silicon validation and hardware/software co-debug. The engineer will own emulation environments and enable early software development and validation of complex SoCs.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end SoC emulation setup and bring-up.
Port and debug RTL on commercial emulation platforms.
Develop emulation-friendly test environments and infrastructure.
Integrate RTL, firmware, drivers, and external models.
Execute functional, performance, and software-driven validation.
Debug failures using waveform, logs, trace, and transaction-level analysis.
Work with design teams to resolve RTL and integration issues.
Develop Python/C/C++ automation for test execution and result analysis.
Create and maintain emulation regressions.
Improve emulation performance, compile time, and capacity utilization.
Support software teams with pre-silicon platforms for firmware and driver development.
Mentor junior engineers and drive technical improvements.
Must Have
5+ years in ASIC/SoC verification, emulation, or FPGA prototyping.
Strong RTL/SystemVerilog knowledge.
Hands-on experience with Palladium, Veloce, or ZeBu.
Strong scripting skills in Python/Tcl/Shell.
Good C/C++ programming knowledge.
Strong understanding of SoC architecture and hardware/software interaction.
Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
Preferred
UVM/SystemVerilog verification experience.
Experience with CPU/AI/Networking/Storage SoCs.
Knowledge of AXI, PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, or other SoC interfaces.
Experience with firmware, boot flow, drivers, or embedded software.
FPGA prototyping experience.
