Frontend Developer

Role Description This is a part-time, remote Frontend Developer role supporting Amazon Business Canada’s drop shipping platform and related web interfaces. The Frontend Developer will implement user-facing features, optimize site performance, and ensure responsive design across devices and browsers. Daily responsibilities include translating design mockups into clean, maintainable code, collaborating with product and design teams to enhance user experience, and integrating front-end components with back-end services. The role also involves reviewing existing pages for usability issues, fixing bugs, and continuously improving interface consistency and accessibility to support partners using the platform.
Qualifications
Strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and Responsive Web Design.
Solid understanding of Web Development and Software Development principles, including version control and testing practices.
Familiarity with Back-End Web Development concepts and ability to collaborate effectively with back-end engineers.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with attention to performance and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience building user-centric interfaces, with a focus on accessibility and usability.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours, and meet project deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and clear written and verbal communication.
Relevant education or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
