Role Description The Channel Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for driving business growth through designated channel partners. The role involves identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with channel partners to achieve sales targets and expand market reach for TATA AIG’s general insurance products. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring partner performance, conducting regular reviews, and providing guidance to ensure alignment with company objectives. The Channel Sales Manager will collaborate with internal teams to support partners with product training, marketing initiatives, and resolution of operational issues, while ensuring high standards of customer service. The role also requires analyzing market trends, preparing performance reports, and recommending improvements to enhance channel productivity and customer experience.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Channel Sales and managing Channel Partners to drive sustainable business growth.
Proven track record in Sales and Sales Management, including target achievement and pipeline management.
Commitment to delivering high-quality Customer Service and maintaining long-term partner and client relationships.
Experience in general insurance or broader financial services (BFSI) is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and partner performance to inform strategy and decisions.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or sales are an advantage.
