We’re looking to connect with experienced Independent Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) who bring integrity, judgement, and cross-sector experience to scaling businesses. If you’ve served on boards or advised executive teams — and want to contribute meaningfully across multiple companies while maintaining independence — this is a unique opportunity to lead flexibly.
This role is ideal for senior leaders, advisors, or former executives who enjoy engaging at the board level and providing strategic guidance without operational involvement. Whether your background is in finance, technology, legal, governance, or risk — your experience and perspective will shape how growing companies scale responsibly.
Key responsibilities may include:
Contributing to board discussions on strategy, performance, governance, and risk
Providing independent oversight and challenge to executive management
Supporting succession planning, ESG, remuneration, or audit committee participation
Advising on governance frameworks, compliance obligations, and fiduciary duties
Guiding leadership on stakeholder management, funding strategy, or exit planning
Acting as a trusted sounding board for the Chair, CEO, or founder
Maintaining independence while championing good governance and ethical leadership
Required qualities may include:
Prior experience as a board director, advisor, or executive committee member
Deep knowledge of governance principles, fiduciary duties, and board structures
Background in one or more of: finance, legal, tech, operations, ESG, or compliance
Strong judgement, communication skills, and stakeholder diplomacy
Understanding of startup, scale-up, or private company dynamics
Independent mindset with the ability to challenge constructively
Familiarity with UK/EEA governance frameworks or international board standards (e.g., UK Corporate Governance Code, IOD principles)
