Role Description The GPM – Pharma PMT, Cardio Division role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The individual in this role will lead product management and marketing activities for cardio segment brands, including portfolio planning, brand positioning, and lifecycle management. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing product and promotional strategies, analyzing market data and sales performance, and coordinating with sales, medical, and marketing teams to drive prescription demand and brand growth. The role also involves managing product launches, overseeing marketing collaterals and digital initiatives, conducting competitor and market analysis, and providing strategic support and training inputs to field teams. The GPM will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance, profitability, and alignment with overall business objectives for the cardio division.
Qualifications
Strong product strategy and product management skills, with proven experience in managing pharma brands, preferably in the cardio therapy area.
Demonstrated analytical skills and experience in using data, market research, and sales metrics to guide decisions and optimize product performance.
Team leadership capabilities, including leading cross-functional teams, coordinating with sales and marketing, and mentoring junior PMT or product managers.
Experience in product development and lifecycle management, including new product evaluation, launch planning, and portfolio optimization.
Minimum 7+ years of dedicated Pharma PMT experience is mandatory; prior cardio division experience is highly preferred.
Graduate in Science or Pharmacy; MBA in Marketing or a related discipline is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of Indian pharma market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape in cardio segment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Results-oriented mindset, high level of ownership, and ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
