Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer internship role is a remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and evaluation of AI-driven solutions for client projects. Interns will assist in building and testing models for pattern recognition, neural networks, and natural language processing, and in integrating these models into software applications. Daily tasks may include data preprocessing, experimentation with different architectures, performance analysis, documentation, and collaboration with senior engineers and developers. The role involves close coordination with the product and UI/UX teams to ensure AI components align with user and business requirements. Interns are expected to learn quickly, contribute to problem-solving, and follow best practices in coding, version control, and model deployment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, and coding in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or C++).
Knowledge of core AI concepts such as Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks, and familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn).
Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and tools, such as tokenization, embeddings, and sequence models.
Ability to work remotely in a structured, self-directed manner, with effective time management and communication skills.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software engineering practices for collaborative development.
Currently pursuing or having recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with cloud platforms or deployment environments is an advantage (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Interest in the MENA digital landscape and willingness to learn about client business domains.
