About The Role:
We are establishing a group shared-services function for BDK, Thiese Precision and Gujarat Met Coke. We are seeking a hands-on IT leader to build reliable, secure and cost-effective technology services across all three companies and their offices and manufacturing locations.
Own the group IT roadmap, enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity and service delivery. Lead internal resources and specialist partners, combining strategic direction with implementation discipline and day-to-day service accountability.
key Responsibilities:
· Group IT governance - Establish common policies, service levels & responsibilities. Standardise shared services while preserving entity-wise access controls and business requirements.
· ERP and SAP delivery. Lead the internal IT workstream for SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollouts and support. Govern partners, integrations, data migration, user testing, cutover and stabilisation with business-process owners.
· Manufacturing digitisation - Lead ERP-linked production, inventory and dispatch data capture, including weigh bridge and barcode/QR integrations. Evaluate MES and automation against business cases, with Operations owning plant-process decisions.
· Infrastructure and support - Manage networks, servers/cloud, business email, endpoints and plant connectivity. Establish a shared service desk, incident escalation, asset registers and maintenance/renewal controls.
· Cybersecurity and continuity - Own access reviews, segregation of duties, endpoint protection, patching, tested backups, disaster recovery and incident response. Support IT audits and data-protection compliance; coordinate plant-system security with Operations.
· Data and management reporting - Govern master-data workflows, interfaces and reporting with Finance, Sales and Operations. Deliver reliable dashboards and reconciliations; business owners retain source-data and process-sign-off accountability.
· Budgets and vendors - Manage IT budgets, procurement, licensing, contracts and vendor performance within approved authority. Track company-wise service costs, project benefits and opportunities to consolidate spend.
Experience & Expectations :
· 12+ years in IT, including at least 5 years leading teams or a function in a multi-site manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Experience leading at least one end-to-end SAP implementation or multi-entity rollout; strong SAP S/4HANA exposure and understanding of manufacturing, supply-chain, sales and finance integration.
· Practical capability across infrastructure, cybersecurity, business continuity, ERP governance, vendor management and IT budgeting. Ability to challenge solution designs and delivery estimates.
· Evidence of improving system adoption, support performance or operational data quality; effective stakeholder management across corporate and plant teams.
· B.tech/BE in IT, Computer Science, MCA or equivalent relevant qualification. SAP, information-security or IT-service-management certifications are advantageous.
