Job Title: Treasury Associate (Middle / Back-Office)
Department: Treasury
Reports To: Treasury Lead / CFO
Experience: 2–5 years

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Treasury Associate to support our treasury function. In this role, you will consolidate data from banks, lenders and internal teams, maintain debt and liquidity trackers, prepare MIS, keep documentation and reconciliations current, and track compliance, covenant and repayment calendars.
This is a backend support role focused on accuracy, timeliness and dependable data. It is not a front-office dealing, lender-negotiation or fund-raising role.
Key Responsibilities
Collect balances, drawdowns, sanctions and interest rates from banks, lenders and internal teams, and maintain the master debt and liquidity trackers.
Prepare weekly and monthly treasury MIS, dashboard inputs, liquidity and debt schedules, and variance data for CFO review.
Maintain sanction letters, loan agreements, repayment schedules, security and charge documents, and rating letters, and keep the lender data room and filing up to date.
Reconcile bank balances, debt outstanding, interest, processing fees and charges against the GL and lender statements.
Maintain the covenant calendar, compile and submit periodic data to lenders and rating agencies, and track limit utilisation against sanctions.
Maintain the debt-servicing schedule (principal and interest), and flag upcoming dues and funding needs in advance.
Follow SOPs and RCM, support statutory and internal audits with schedules and evidence, and assist with automation, templates and ad-hoc analysis.
Skills & Competencies
Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots); knowledge of basic macros is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and data discipline.
Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
Working knowledge of debt instruments such as term loans, NCDs, OD/CC, and securitisation / DA pools.
Basic understanding of accounting and bank reconciliation.
Clear written and verbal communication for coordinating with banks, lenders and internal teams.
Reliability on deadlines and a proactive approach to flagging issues early.
Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA-Inter or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in treasury back/middle office, banking operations, or financial reporting.
