Web Research & Fact-Checking Specialist – AI Evaluation Project (Indonesia)

We are looking for experienced Web Research & Fact-Checking Specialists to support a remote project involving research-based tasks for AI evaluation.
The role is suitable for professionals with strong research, source verification, fact-checking, and written communication skills.
What You'll Do
Conduct detailed research across reputable public web sources
Research and verify multiple independent clues to identify definitive answers
Use search engines, archives, catalogues, databases, and other research resources
Evaluate sources for reliability and distinguish primary from secondary information
Provide accurate citations, supporting evidence, and verification details
Create well-structured research questions and tasks
Document research methodology and findings clearly
Fact-check information generated or identified using research and AI tools
What We're Looking For
3+ years of relevant professional experience
Master's degree
Background in one or more of:
Journalism / Fact-checking
Library or archival research
Genealogy
Due diligence
Primary-source research
Citation-heavy editing
Strong web research and source evaluation skills
Excellent written English
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Experience with OSINT or cataloguing is a plus
Experience creating benchmarks, exams, research questions, or puzzle content is a plus
