Summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Lighting & Texturing Artist with experience in 3D texturing, lighting, shading, and rendering of vehicles and automotive products. The ideal candidate should possess a strong artistic eye, technical expertise, and the ability to produce highly realistic, visually appealing, and accurate 3D renders.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with 3D modelers and other cross-functional teams to develop high-quality materials, textures, lighting setups, and final renders. You will be responsible for maintaining visual consistency, meeting project deadlines, and ensuring that all deliverables meet established quality standards. The candidate should be detail-oriented, adaptable to creative direction, and responsive to feedback from the Quality Assurance (QA) team.
Requirements & Responsibilities
Create accurate, highly detailed work and consistently perform thorough self-QA before delivery.
Be team-oriented, while also being able to self-manage and work autonomously when necessary.
Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Adapt to changing project requirements and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Willingness to push yourself beyond the stated capabilities by learning new software and approaches to the delivery pipeline.
Deliver high-quality work within a fast-paced, time-critical, and accuracy-driven environment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reference imagery into accurate 3D rendering.
Develop and refine realistic lighting, materials, and textures for vehicles and automotive products.
Create low-poly textures for real-time applications such as WebGL, Unity, etc.
Generate different texture maps (AO, normal, etc.) for real-time applications.
Minimum Qualifications Needed
Knowledge & Experience
Professional experience in a fast-paced 3D production environment.
Knowledge of rendering & lighting, UV, and texture baking.
Knowledge of KeyShot and Blender is required.
Demonstrated understanding of the technical aspects of rendering, UV unwrapping, texturing, and baking.
Intermediate knowledge of real-time applications is a plus (Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Orientation towards innovation, self-direction, and the ability to receive and apply feedback.
Ability to research solutions to either artistic or technical issues when they arise.
Education
Formal training and experience in 3D Texturing & Rendering (or practical experience).
Experience or interest in the automotive industry is a plus.
