About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

Full-Time | Product Management | Reports to Chief Operating Officer
The Role
Globalgig is hiring a head of Product Management to lead our managed security portfolio across network and edge security, endpoint and workload protection, identity security, cloud security, security operations, and enterprise AI security. You will own the strategy, roadmap, commercialization, lifecycle, and financial performance of services ranging from managed NGFW and SSE through XDR, SIEM, managed and co-managed SOC, and security for AI applications and autonomous agents.
Our security services run on technology from our OEM partner and are delivered with outsourced managed security partners. You will own both relationships, and work with engineering, our support team, finance, procurement, sales, and marketing to take services from concept to scale.
Core Responsibilities
Strategy and Portfolio
• Set the strategy and multi-year roadmap for managed security, including build, buy, partner, and retire decisions.
• Own the commercial performance of the portfolio: revenue growth, realized margin, attach rate, and retention.
• Build the case for new services and take it to the executive team.
• Define how network, endpoint, identity, cloud, AI security and security operations capabilities operate as an integrated platform rather than a collection of point services.
• Maintain a portfolio architecture that clearly identifies shared control planes, telemetry, policy, identity, automation and service-management dependencies across the product set.
• Own the evolution from discrete security products to outcome-based managed-security solutions, including fully managed, co-managed and customer-operated service models.
Services and Pricing
• Define services, SLAs, and operating models with engineering and our support team so what we sell is what we can deliver at scale.
• Set packaging, pricing, and discount guardrails with finance and sales leadership.
Technology and Delivery Partners
• Lead the relationship with our OEM technology partner, including roadmap alignment and commercial terms.
• Manage our outsourced managed security partners and hold them to the service levels and margins the portfolio depends on.
• Lead vendor selection and consolidation with engineering and procurement.
Market, Customers, and Channel
• Hold a sharp view of the competitive landscape across carriers, MSSPs, VARs, and direct vendor offers, and turn it into roadmap decisions.
• Lead executive conversations with customers and prospects, and join the deals that matter most.
• Represent Globalgig at industry events, including keynotes, panels, and speaking engagements.
• Present the portfolio to channel partners and give them what they need to sell it with confidence.
• Partner with marketing and sales on positioning, launches, and enablement.
What You Need
• Deep product and operational expertise across NGFW, SSE/SASE, endpoint and workload security, XDR/MDR, SIEM/SOAR and managed or co-managed security operations.
• Working knowledge of identity security, privileged access, cloud security, attack-surface management, browser security, IoT security and data protection.
• Demonstrated ability to productize emerging security technologies, including enterprise AI security, AI access governance, AI posture management, runtime protection and agent security.
• Experience designing services that combine OEM technology, internal operations, professional services and third-party SOC or delivery partners.
• Understanding of modern security telemetry, detection engineering, orchestration, incident response, human-in-the-loop automation and service reporting.
• Experience building scalable service operations, including product-readiness gates, implementation models, SLAs, RACI, training, documentation, cost-to-serve and lifecycle governance.
• A record of managing recurring-revenue portfolios using revenue, gross margin, attach rate, retention, adoption, customer outcomes and operational performance.
• Ability to make informed build, buy, partner and acquisition recommendations based on strategic fit, technical architecture, time to market and unit economics.
• Working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, data sovereignty and the shared-responsibility implications of managed-security services.
Useful but not required: experience in a carrier, MSP, or MSSP environment; multi-country service delivery; compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS; relevant security certifications.
Location
Remote. Must be located in the U.S. or Canada.
