Chief Financial Officer

Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing all financial strategy, planning, and operations. The CFO will lead budgeting and forecasting processes, manage cash flow, and ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports. This role includes designing and maintaining robust financial controls, supporting long-term business strategy with data-driven insights, and partnering with executive leadership on investment, growth, and risk management decisions. The CFO will oversee finance team members, coordinate audits, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and implement process improvements to enhance transparency, efficiency, and performance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance, Financial Planning, and Financial Reporting for strategic and operational decision-making.
Candidates should possess expertise in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting Financial Statements.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate performance, model scenarios, and support data-driven recommendations.
Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (e.g., VP Finance, CFO) in a complex or growth-oriented organization.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams and collaborate effectively with cross-functional leaders.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and audit practices.
Strong proficiency with financial systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or equivalent professional designation is preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance audiences.
High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical financial management.
