Ocho People are partnering with a fast-growing Series B cloud security company that's expanding its U.S. engineering team. Their platform is trusted by some of the world's most demanding organisations, including SpaceX, NASA, JP Morgan and Twitter.
This is a hands-on software engineering role with a strong customer focus. You'll write production Golang code, build cloud infrastructure on GCP with Terraform, and play a key part in onboarding and deploying new customers onto the platform. You'll work closely with solution architects to make sure every deployment is smooth, secure and built to scale.
The role is 100% remote from anywhere in the US, with working hours aligned to the Pacific time zone. It's virtually customer-facing, and no travel is required.
What You'll Do
Design, write and maintain software and services in Golang, from internal tooling to production-grade components
Lead the technical side of customer onboarding, taking new customers from initial setup to fully deployed, production-ready environments
Deploy and configure the platform in customer cloud environments, working with solution architects to tailor each rollout
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform to make deployments repeatable and reliable
Deploy, operate and optimise workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Develop automation, tooling and CI/CD pipelines that speed up onboarding and improve the developer experience
Support and scale high-availability, distributed production systems
What We're Looking For
Strong software engineering experience in Golang (services, tooling or automation)
Hands-on experience with GCP (GKE, Compute Engine, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, etc.)
Solid experience using Terraform in production environments
A good understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking and security
Background in software engineering, DevOps or platform engineering
Confidence working directly with customers to onboard and deploy technical solutions
Comfortable working remotely on Pacific time zone hours
Nice to Have
CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Multi-cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
Previous experience with customer onboarding, implementation or SaaS deployments
Why Join
Build and deploy software used by SpaceX, NASA, JP Morgan and Twitter
Fully remote, Pacific time zone hours, no travel
A mix of real engineering work and direct customer impact
Modern cloud infrastructure and automation
