Role Description There is a transformation exercise from ACI MTS Wire system to a modern Payment Hub solution. As part of this there is a need to understand existing rules, fields in MTS and replicate this in the new Payment Hub Solution. This particular role’s responsibility is to explain based on MTS system knowledge and available documentation to translate that into new Rules, configuration and workaround in the new solution
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for understanding MTS system configured in a particular institution based on available documentation and system access.
Understand the rules, fields, Enum values and explain to the new system owners in terms of how it should be configured.
Write mapping documents and work with implementation team to configure in new solution.
Build tools on need basis and write specification and product documentation for them.
Work closely with product development, migration and product quality teams , collaborate with them to provide a solution which is acceptable.
Articulate clearly to stakeholders of the MTS functionality and how it is configured.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of working in Bank IT Landscape
At least 3 years of working knowledge on MTS Wire system.
Have a very good technical understanding of Payment systems, monolith and microservices based architecture, and integration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels and to clients.
Working knowledge of SQL is preferred.
