2. Job Purpose
To ensure
safe, efficient and continuous production of plastic components through
injection moulding while achieving production targets, maintaining product
quality, optimizing machine/process performance and controlling production
costs.
3. Key Responsibilities
Set up and optimize
injection moulding machines.
Monitor and control cycle
time, machine efficiency, productivity and rejection.
Troubleshoot moulding
defects and process-related issues.
Carry out mould change and
ensure proper machine and mould setup.
Monitor production against
daily/monthly production plans and targets.
Handle and allocate manpower
effectively as per production requirements.
Coordinate with Tool Room
for mould-related issues and breakdowns.
Coordinate with Maintenance
for machine breakdowns and technical issues.
Ensure proper handling and
use of raw materials and production resources.
Maintain production records,
process parameters and required documentation.
Ensure compliance with
safety, quality and 5S requirements.
Identify opportunities for
process improvement, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
4. Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to company
policies, procedures and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with
applicable statutory, safety and regulatory requirements.
Maintain required production
and process-related records.
Support internal and
external audits.
Ensure safe working
practices and EHS compliance.
