Role Overview:
We are looking for a Linux Kernel Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Linux Kernel Testing & Validation on bare-metal x86 servers.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
Linux kernel build, installation, boot and validation
Kernel regression and patch testing
Kernel debugging and root-cause analysis
Testing on bare-metal AMD/Intel x86 servers
Shell/Python-based test automation
Kernel feature validation across drivers, memory, networking, storage, virtualization, power or performance
Server bring-up and custom-kernel boot validation
Familiarity with LTP, stress-ng, Avocado, Jenkins, perf, ftrace, dmesg and Git
Knowledge of BIOS/UEFI and GRUB
