Graphic Designer cum Video Editor – Digital Team

Mind & Matter is looking for a creative and versatile Graphic Designer cum Video Editor to join our Digital Team. The role involves creating engaging static and video content for social media, digital campaigns, brands, and marketing initiatives.
We are open to recent graduates/freshers with a strong portfolio as well as candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
Create visually engaging social media posts, digital creatives, banners, advertisements, presentations, and other marketing collaterals.
Edit and produce short-form videos, reels, promotional videos, social media videos, and digital content.
Develop creative concepts and visual treatments based on campaign objectives and brand requirements.
Work closely with the Digital Marketing, Content, and Creative teams to develop campaign-specific graphics and videos.
Adapt graphics and videos into different formats and dimensions for various social media platforms.
Add transitions, text animations, subtitles, music, sound effects, and other visual elements to videos where required.
Maintain consistency in brand identity, typography, colours, layouts, and overall visual style.
Make creative revisions based on feedback and ensure timely delivery of assigned work.
Explore current design, video, social media, and content trends to bring fresh ideas to digital creatives.
Use AI-powered creative tools to generate ideas, explore concepts, create visual elements, and enhance graphics and video content.
Experiment with new tools and creative techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of design and video production.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of graphic design principles, composition, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy.
Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, or similar tools.
Basic to good understanding of video editing, motion graphics, transitions, pacing, and visual storytelling.
Familiarity with AI-based design, image-generation, video-generation, and creative tools.
Ability to use AI tools for creative ideation, visual exploration, image creation, and developing engaging graphics and video concepts.
Good understanding of social media formats and digital content requirements.
Strong creative sense with attention to detail.
Ability to understand creative briefs and translate ideas into effective visual content.
Good communication, time-management, and collaboration skills.
Willingness to learn and experiment with new creative tools and technologies.
Who Can Apply?
Recent graduates/freshers from Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, Animation, Film/Video Editing, or related fields with a strong portfolio.
Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in graphic design, video editing, digital marketing, advertising, or a creative agency environment.
Candidates who can demonstrate their skills through a portfolio/showreel are preferred.
