MOBILITY SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT | AUTOMOTIVE & MOBILITY
Location: Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), Kerala
Education: Relevant Engineering / Technical Qualification
Experience: 15+ Years | Senior / Principal Architect Level
We are looking for a highly experienced Mobility Solutions Architect / Technology SME who will act as a pure technology evaluator and system architect, supporting solutioning, customer engagements, pre-sales discussions, and architecture definition.
This is not a sales role. The focus is on strong technical depth, architecture expertise, customer-facing technical credibility, and evaluating solution feasibility across automotive and mobility technologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🔹 Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops, RFI/RFP discussions, and solution engagements as a technical SME.
🔹 Understand customer requirements and evaluate technical feasibility and architectural options.
🔹 Define high-level and system architectures for automotive and mobility software solutions.
🔹 Recommend suitable technology stacks, platforms, and architectural approaches.
🔹 Identify technical risks, constraints, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs.
🔹 Support proposals with architecture diagrams, technical inputs, assumptions, and solution recommendations.
🔹 Define and review System / Software Architecture during delivery engagements.
🔹 Support troubleshooting of critical production issues in task-force mode.
🔹 Evaluate HW/SW partitioning, compute and memory requirements, boot chain, security, power/reset strategy, clocking, and I/O architecture.
🔹 Define communication architecture across CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, FlexRay, UART, SPI, and I2C.
🔹 Evaluate architecture options such as MCU vs. SoC, Classic vs. Adaptive AUTOSAR, Linux vs. RTOS/QNX, and centralized vs. distributed computing.
🔹 Establish performance KPIs including boot time, CPU/memory headroom, latency, jitter, frame rate, and thermal limits.
🔹 Lead architecture-level debugging across HW/SW boundaries using logs, traces, crash dumps, network captures, and diagnostic services.
🔹 Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth technical handover.
REQUIRED SKILLS & DOMAIN EXPERTISE
Strong expertise in Automotive / Mobility Software Architecture
Infotainment & Digital Cockpit
Android / Android Automotive (AAOS)
Embedded Linux / QNX / RTOS
AUTOSAR Classic & Adaptive
Embedded C/C++ and exposure to modern technologies such as Rust
SoC / MCU platform architecture
Bootloader, BSP and board bring-up
Drivers, middleware and application frameworks
FOTA / SOTA and software lifecycle strategies
CAN / CAN-FD / LIN / Automotive Ethernet / SOME-IP
Secure Boot / TPM / HSM and automotive cybersecurity concepts
UDS, DLT, crash/core dumps and network analysis
Performance, stability and system-level troubleshooting
Strong understanding of safety, scalability, latency, throughput, cost and integration trade-offs
Excellent customer-facing communication, whiteboarding, architecture review, and technical presentation skills
Willingness to travel for customer engagements
