PRIME FUNCTION
Design forging 3D model, forging die design, and tooling using Siemens NX (UG), and develop and optimize forging processes, ensure manufacturability, quality, and timely completion of new product development.
Responsibilities / Brief Job Description Of Activities
To create the 3D model, forging die design, tooling design, and 2D drawing preparation with help of NX.
Develop forging process plans / stage for new and existing components based on customer drawings and specifications.
Review customer drawings, GD&T, material specifications, and technical requirements.
Analyse forging defects such as underfill, mismatch, laps, cracks, and dimensional deviations, and implement corrective actions.
Prepare the TFC & RFQ for new product development.
To develop the parts both steel & Aluminium hot forging.
AUTHORITY
Prepare and review the forging die designs, 3D model, simulation, drawings & documents.
Qualification:
B.E in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
3 to 5 Years experience in forging design and manufacturing.
Good knowledge in Siemens NX & Q form simulation software.
Good knowledge in APQP, PFMEA, TFC & RFQ.
Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and forging process requirements.

On-time completion of forging design activities.
First-time-right design.
Timely release of design and drawings as per Teamcenter.
Yield improvement & process improvement projects.
