BookMyPooja is an online platform that helps customers book authentic Hindu pujas and rituals with experienced pandits across different languages, traditions, and cities. We coordinate the complete puja experience—from customer booking and requirements to pandit assignment and successful completion of the puja.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales & Operations Associate who will be responsible for managing customers and coordinating with pandits to ensure every puja is executed smoothly from booking to completion.
This is a people-facing, execution-oriented role that requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with customers regarding puja requirements, dates, timings, location, samagri, and other details.
Coordinate with pandits and assign them to bookings based on language, location, availability, and puja requirements.
* Manage the complete puja lifecycle from booking confirmation to successful completion.
* Follow up with customers and pandits before the puja to ensure all arrangements are confirmed.
* Maintain and update Excel/Google Sheets for bookings, customer details, pandit allocation, payments, and operations.
* Handle last-minute changes, scheduling issues, and customer/pandit coordination.
* Ensure customers receive the required preparation and puja-related information.
* Coordinate internally with the sales and operations team to ensure smooth execution.
* Maintain high-quality customer experience and timely communication.
Requirements
* Tamil speaking is mandatory.
* Kannada and Telugu are an added advantage.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Good customer-handling and coordination skills.
* Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets.
* Basic understanding of Hindu pujas, rituals, and traditions.
* Good organizational and follow-up skills.
* Ability to multitask and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
* Comfortable handling calls and WhatsApp communication with customers and pandits.
* Prior experience in sales, customer support, hospitality, operations, or service coordination is preferred.

Compensation & Work Model
* Salary: ₹25,000+ per month
* Incentives: Performance-based incentives in addition to fixed salary
* Work Mode: Hybrid
* Office: Bengaluru
Working: 3 days from office + 3 days Work From Home
