About the Role
We are looking for a Robotics Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in ROS/ROS2, robot navigation, robotic arm simulation, motion planning, 3D perception and advanced path-planning algorithms.
The candidate will work on complex autonomous robotic systems and develop software from perception and planning to simulation and real robot execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and integrate ROS/ROS2-based robotic systems.
Work on Navigation Stack / Nav2, SLAM, localization, mapping and obstacle avoidance.
Develop global and local path planners for autonomous robots.
Implement algorithms such as A, Dijkstra, RRT, RRT, PRM, RRT-Connect** and other planning approaches.
Develop robotic arm simulation using Gazebo, RViz, MoveIt/MoveIt 2 and similar platforms.
Work on Forward & Inverse Kinematics, trajectory planning and collision-free motion planning.
Develop Cartesian and joint-space path planning.
Work with LiDAR, RGB-D cameras, depth cameras, IMU and 3D scanners.
Develop 3D scanning, point-cloud processing, object detection and localization.
Work with PCD, PLY, STL, mesh and point-cloud data.
Implement ICP, point-cloud registration, segmentation and surface reconstruction.
Generate robotic paths from 3D scanned objects and CAD/mesh models.
Develop surface-based path planning using surface normals, tool orientation and process constraints.
Develop robotic applications for painting, inspection, grinding, polishing, welding and scanning.
Integrate perception, planning and robot control into complete autonomous systems.
Develop and debug C++/Python robotics software.
Work with Linux, Git, ROS tools, TF/TF2, sensors and robot APIs.
Design solutions for complex real-world robotics problems and develop custom algorithms when required.
