Role Description This is a full-time, on-site System Administrator role based in Barmer. The System Administrator will manage and maintain servers, workstations, and core IT infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operations across the facility. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, applying updates and patches, managing user accounts and access controls, and maintaining backup and recovery processes. The role will involve diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, coordinating with vendors when required, and providing technical support to internal users. The System Administrator will also assist in implementing IT policies, improving security practices, and contributing to infrastructure upgrades aligned with organizational standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in System Administration and Information Technology for managing servers, operating systems, and core IT services.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and support end users effectively.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration to configure, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN, firewalls, and related network components.
Knowledge of security best practices, backup and disaster recovery, and monitoring tools is beneficial.
Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with enterprise environments (Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage systems) and utility or industrial sectors is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Barmer, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document processes and configurations clearly.
