Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Land Surveyor & Land Acquisition role based in Solapur. The role involves conducting land and topographic surveys to support power plant and infrastructure projects, using instruments such as total stations and GPS equipment. The Land Surveyor will be responsible for preparing survey plans, maps, and drawings, verifying boundaries, and maintaining accurate records of measurements and site data. The position also includes coordinating land acquisition activities, assisting in identification and assessment of land parcels, and supporting documentation and liaison work with internal teams and external stakeholders. The team member will collaborate closely with project, engineering, and legal teams to ensure land-related activities are completed on time and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Land Surveying and Surveying techniques, including boundary and route surveys.
Experience with Topographic Surveys to capture terrain features and support project planning.
Hands-on skills with Total Station and related survey instruments, including data collection and processing.
Exposure to Building Surveying for industrial, plant, and infrastructure layouts.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and cadastral maps.
Working knowledge of survey software and CAD tools for preparing drawings and reports.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and landowners.
Familiarity with local land laws, land records, and acquisition procedures in Maharashtra is an advantage.
Prior experience in power, infrastructure, or industrial projects is preferred.
