Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a B.Sc. Microbiology Fresher at Ipca Laboratories Limited, located in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, India. The role involves assisting in routine microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in accordance with established procedures and regulatory guidelines. Responsibilities include culture preparation, environmental monitoring, sterility testing support, and documentation of test results in laboratory records and electronic systems. The candidate will help maintain laboratory hygiene, handle laboratory equipment under supervision, and follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices and quality standards. The role also includes collaborating with quality control and production teams and participating in training to build technical skills in pharmaceutical microbiology.
Qualifications
Completed B.Sc. in Microbiology or an equivalent life sciences degree from a recognized institution.
Basic understanding of microbiological techniques such as culture handling, staining, and microbial identification.
Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), aseptic techniques, and safety procedures in a laboratory environment.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures, maintain accurate records, and support quality and regulatory compliance.
Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills and basic proficiency in using computers for data entry and documentation.
Internship or project experience in microbiology or pharmaceutical quality control is an advantage.
