L2 – TAC Engineer (Mid Level)
Responsibilities:
Handle
advanced troubleshooting for firewall and network security issues
Perform
switching and routing troubleshooting (L2/L3 issues)
Analyze
logs, traffic, and security incidents across multi-vendor environments
Perform
packet capture analysis using tools like Wireshark/tcpdump
Configure
and manage NAT, VPN (IPSec/SSL), and security policies
Handle
escalations from L1 team and ensure timely resolution
Work
directly with customers for issue resolution and updates
Support
implementation and change activities
Required Skills:
Strong
hands-on experience in at least one firewall platform (Palo Alto /
Fortigate / Check Point / Cisco ASA)
Strong
troubleshooting in switching and routing (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP basics)
Experience
in packet capture analysis and traffic flow understanding
Experience
in implementation (NAT, VPN, Security Policies)
Good
knowledge of routing and switching
Strong
analytical and troubleshooting skills
Mandatory Certifications:
PCNSE
/ NSE4 / CCNP Security / CCSA (any one preferred, PCNSE is an advantage)
CCNA
(must)
