Our SAP practice supports organisations through implementations, rollouts, upgrades and ongoing application management. We are growing our Hyderabad SAP team and are looking for experienced specialists who want to own their area of expertise and work directly with UK-based business and IT stakeholders.
Role Summary
Quadric IT is hiring four SAP FICO consultants focused on cost and management reporting. Management accountants depend on SAP Controlling to know where costs arise, how they are allocated, what products really cost and how actuals compare with plan.
In this role you will design and support overhead cost controlling, product costing and the management reports built on them. You will make sure primary costs flow correctly from financial accounting into controlling, period-end allocations and settlements run cleanly, and management accounts can be trusted.
Key Responsibilities
Cost accounting design and configuration
Design and maintain controlling master data and structures: cost centres and hierarchies, internal orders, activity types and statistical key figures.
Configure and support cost allocations such as assessments, distributions and activity allocation, as well as order settlement.
Configure and support product costing: costing variants, standard cost estimates, cost components and overhead calculation, in line with business requirements.
Period-end and planning
Run and support controlling period-end activities, including allocations, overhead calculation, work in process and variance calculation, and settlement.
Support cost centre and internal order planning and budgeting, and plan-versus-actual analysis.
Investigate and resolve costing errors and unexpected variances with plant controllers and finance users.
Management reporting and enablement
Build and support management reports for cost centres, orders and product costs, and reconcile them to the general ledger.
Write functional specifications for reports, enhancements and interfaces, support testing, and train controlling users.
Required Skills And Experience
8+ years of relevant SAP experience, mainly in SAP CO, with hands-on overhead cost controlling and product costing.
Strong knowledge of cost centre accounting, internal orders, activity types and allocation cycles.
Practical experience with standard cost estimates, period-end closing in controlling and variance analysis.
Understanding of FI CO integration and of how logistics transactions (goods movements, production orders) create costs.
At least one full-cycle implementation, rollout or major support engagement on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
Ability to walk management accountants through allocations, variances and cost reports in UK-based teams.
Preferred Skills (nice To Have)
SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting experience, including the universal journal.
Material Ledger and actual costing.
Margin Analysis or costing-based CO-PA exposure, sufficient to support management reporting.
Planning or reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud.
WAYS OF WORKING
Work from our Hyderabad location on UK shift hours, collaborating daily with UK-based business users, process owners and IT teams.
Work alongside other SAP functional and technical consultants (FI, MM, LE, ABAP and integration) to deliver end-to-end solutions rather than isolated configuration.
Follow structured delivery practices: documented requirements, controlled configuration changes, test evidence and clear hand-over notes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
You are a controlling specialist who can follow a cost from its original posting through every allocation to the management report. You are as comfortable explaining a variance to a plant controller as you are configuring the cycle that created it.
PROVIDENT FUND (PF) REQUIREMENT
Provident Fund (PF) membership is mandatory for this role.
