Meet the Team
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on specialist to join our Geneva Operations Team. This position requires deep expertise in Geneva and fund accounting flows, a strong control mindset and able to work with a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Perform daily and monthly cash, position, trade, and P & L reconciliations across all instrument types, including FX, equities, options, OTC derivatives, swaps, and fixed income.
Independently research, investigate, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and breaks, driving them to closure.
Partner with Business and IT teams across the organization to gather information and solve problems.
Work with large data sets to identify trends, root causes, and process improvements.
Ensure timely completion and reporting of all trade and position breaks in line with quality SLAs.
Maintain and enhance reconciliation processes and controls, using the Gresham recon tool where applicable.
What You Bring
Overall experience of 6-9 years, including relevant hedge fund accounting reconciliation experience.
Hands-on SS & C Geneva experience (must have).
Strong working knowledge of reconciliation processing across cash, position, trade, and P & L.
Good understanding of capital markets, hedge funds, and financial instruments. Excellent Excel skills and the ability to work with large data sets. SQL skills are a plus.
Working knowledge of Gresham recon tool is an advantage. Preferably an Accounting, Finance, or Operations background.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work with minimal guidance. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
