Role Overview
Syncora IT is looking for a motivated IT Intern who wants to gain practical experience in IT Support, Cloud, Networking, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. The intern will work with our technical team and gain hands- on exposure to real-world business IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide basic IT support and troubleshooting for users, computers, printers and connectivity.
Assist with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and cloud administration.
Assist with network configuration, including routers, switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi and basic
troubleshooting.
Assist with firewall configuration, security rules, VPNs and network security.
Assist with CCTV, IP cameras and NVR configuration and troubleshooting.
Assist with PABX/IP phone configuration and troubleshooting.
Support Windows devices, software installation, updates and device management.
Assist with Microsoft Defender, MFA, endpoint security and basic cybersecurity.
Maintain technical documentation and IT infrastructure records.
Requirements
Studying or recently completed IT, Computer Science, Networking, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing or a related qualification.
Basic knowledge of computers and networking.
Strong interest in IT infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity.
Willingness to learn and troubleshoot technical issues.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, firewalls,
CCTV/NVR, PABX or PowerShell will be an advantage.
