We're looking for an SEO & AI Search Visibility Specialist who can help BuzzyBooth and our customers become more visible—not just on Google, but across the rapidly growing world of AI-powered search and discovery.
The Role:
This role is ideal for someone who understands how search engines rank content and is excited about the evolution from traditional SEO to AI Search / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve website rankings, developing content strategies, and finding ways to increase the likelihood that businesses are discovered and recommended by AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI search engines.
You should be highly comfortable using existing SEO tools and data to identify opportunities rather than relying solely on intuition.
What You'll Do:
**Traditional SEO**
Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis
Identify high-value keyword opportunities and content gaps
Analyze competitors and determine why their websites rank
Develop SEO content strategies designed to increase organic traffic and rankings
Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversions
**AI Search / AI Visibility**
Develop strategies for getting businesses and their content surfaced in **ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI search platforms**
Research how AI search engines discover, understand, and cite businesses and websites
Identify content opportunities that can increase a brand's visibility in AI-generated answers
Develop content specifically designed to answer the questions customers are asking AI
Analyze which websites, sources, and content are being referenced by AI platforms
Monitor AI visibility and identify opportunities to improve brand/entity mentions
Experiment with **Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and AI SEO**
Build repeatable strategies for improving AI visibility across different industries
Requirements
What We're Looking For
2+ years of hands-on SEO experience
Strong understanding of Google search ranking factors and modern SEO
Strong keyword research and competitive analysis skills
Experience developing SEO content strategies
Understanding of on-page SEO, internal linking, technical SEO, and content optimization
Strong analytical and research skills
Ability to turn data into actionable recommendations
Excellent written communication
**Strongly Preferred:**
Hands-on experience with **AI search / GEO / AEO / AI visibility**
Experience optimizing content for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, or similar platforms
Experience measuring or tracking brand visibility in AI search
Understanding of how LLMs discover, interpret, and reference web content

You don't need to have every answer. You do need to know how to research, test hypotheses, analyze data, and turn what you learn into a repeatable strategy.
