Job Description
Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor upon arrival at the restaurant or dining venue
Seat guests promptly and present menus while providing information about current specials and dining options
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and temperature standards
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and dining experiences based on guest preferences
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns or special requests promptly
Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
Clear and reset tables efficiently between seatings while maintaining the ambiance of the dining space
Process guest payments accurately and professionally, including handling cash, credit cards, and digital transactions
Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Comply with all health, safety, and food service regulations and hotel service standards
Respond to guest inquiries and requests with courtesy and professionalism, escalating complex issues to management when necessary
Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues during peak service periods
Qualifications
Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage service or guest-facing hospitality roles
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
