Role Description The Executive Vice President will provide strategic leadership and oversight for all Design Conceptualization and Customization initiatives in a part-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting strategic direction, shaping design standards, and guiding overall project priorities in collaboration with the principal and any external partners. The role involves reviewing proposals, offering high-level input on creative concepts, and ensuring that deliverables align with the client’s vision, timeline, and budget. The Executive Vice President will support relationship management with key collaborators, help identify opportunities to improve processes and service offerings, and ensure that work is carried out with professionalism, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail. This position requires proactive communication, independent judgment, and a willingness to adjust to evolving needs in a private, personalized setting.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in executive or senior leadership roles, ideally involving design, creative services, or bespoke project environments.
Strong strategic planning, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time, remote setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with a private client and external partners while maintaining confidentiality.
Familiarity with design processes, conceptual development, and customization workflows; ability to provide thoughtful critique and direction on creative concepts.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion, with a track record of working in trusted advisory or executive roles.
Comfort with remote tools and technology for communication, documentation, and coordination of projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
