Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Food and Beverage Assistant role based at Royal Orchid Hotels in Solapur. The Food and Beverage Assistant will support daily restaurant and banquet operations, including welcoming guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner. The role involves coordinating with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas, and assisting with table setup, clearing, and replenishment. The Food and Beverage Assistant will also handle guest queries, promote menu items and special offers, process payments as required, and follow safety and quality guidelines to deliver a consistent guest experience.
Qualifications
Strong food & beverage knowledge and practical exposure to food service in restaurant or hotel settings.
Experience in basic food preparation or pantry support, with attention to hygiene and safety standards.
Customer service and communication skills to interact with guests professionally and handle inquiries or feedback.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, including weekends and shifts, while collaborating effectively with team members.
Prior experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering is an advantage; hospitality-related education or certification is preferred.
Basic numeracy and POS handling skills, with a focus on accuracy in billing and order management.
Professional grooming, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to diverse guests.
