This role is responsible for leading an engineering team focused on designing, developing, and maintaining Angular-based applications and related services. Day-to-day activities include overseeing software architecture and design decisions, contributing to hands-on coding, reviewing code for quality and performance, and ensuring best practices across the development lifecycle. The role involves coordinating with product and project stakeholders, planning and tracking deliverables, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement in development processes and distributed system reliability.

Agamin is looking for an experienced Manager - Software Engineering with 12+ years of experience to provide technical leadership, delivery governance, stakeholder management, and operational oversight. The ideal candidate will drive application modernization initiatives, support technical evolution aligned with enterprise architecture, and ensure successful delivery of business-critical applications while mentoring high-performing engineering teams.
The Opportunity:
As a Manager - Software Engineering, you will provide technical leadership and delivery governance across multiple strategic initiatives. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, and leadership to drive modernization programs, ensure delivery excellence, and establish engineering best practices.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead engineering teams and oversee project delivery, quality, governance, and operational excellence.
Drive technical strategy and modernization initiatives for business-critical applications.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and technology roadmaps.
Manage project planning, resource allocation, estimations, and delivery schedules.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
Govern software development best practices, coding standards, and quality processes.
Monitor project execution, delivery metrics, and stakeholder communications.
Support technology transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor and coach engineering teams to build technical capabilities and leadership skills.
Facilitate technical discussions, architectural reviews, and strategic decision-making.
Drive operational excellence, process optimization, and innovation across teams.
Technical Responsibilities:
Provide technical oversight for Angular-based enterprise applications.
Guide development teams on front-end architecture and best practices.
Review and support design decisions involving .NET, APIs, databases, and cloud-native technologies.
Ensure implementation of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Support scalable application architectures leveraging Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
Drive automation, testing, and quality assurance practices across engineering teams.
What you need:
12+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Application Development, or Technology Leadership roles.
Proven experience leading large engineering teams and managing end-to-end project delivery.
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
Experience driving application modernization and technology transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and enterprise application development.
Hands-on knowledge of modern web technologies and cloud-native development.
Experience in Agile delivery methodologies and SDLC governance.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
Experience in project planning, risk management, budgeting, and resource management.
