About The Opportunity
A leading diagnostics and clinical microbiology solutions provider in India, we deliver high-accuracy, rapid-turnaround microbial testing services for hospitals, pathology labs, and public health initiatives. Our lab networks are equipped with cutting-edge biosafety and automation tools to support infectious disease surveillance, antimicrobial resistance profiling, and clinical decision-making across urban and rural healthcare systems.
Role & Responsibilities
Perform culture, identification, and susceptibility testing of bacterial, fungal, and viral isolates using CLSI and WHO protocols.
Operate and maintain Automated Microbiology Systems (VITEK, BD Phoenix, WALKaway) and PCR-based platforms for rapid diagnostics.
Document test results in LIMS with zero data entry errors and ensure timely reporting to clinicians and epidemiologists.
Implement QC procedures for reagents, media, and equipment; troubleshoot deviations and validate new assays.
Collaborate with infection control teams to interpret antimicrobial resistance patterns and support stewardship programs.
Adhere strictly to biosafety Level 2/3 guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory standards (NABL, ISO 15189).
Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Applied Biology, or related field.
Experience: 1–4 years of bench laboratory experience in pharmaceutical, diagnostic, food safety, or biotechnology testing.
Technical Skills: Sound grasp of aseptic techniques, microbial identification, standard culture methods, and basic statistical analysis.
Soft Skills: Sharp attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and clear written/verbal communication.
