Senior Business Analyst, Process Automation and Data

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst in Bulgaria (Fully Remote) to work with international teams in complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis and requirements engineering skills with experience in process management, workflow automation, and data.
The Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work with business and technical stakeholders to understand processes, define requirements, and help deliver practical digital solutions.
You will lead analysis from discovery and process mapping through functional specifications, implementation support, and user acceptance testing. You will collaborate with product owners, developers, and process teams to turn business needs into clear requirements and workable systems.
This role suits someone who is comfortable working across business processes, technology, and data, and can bring structure to complex or evolving requirements.
What You Will Do
Lead business and functional analysis for digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops to understand current processes, challenges, and desired outcomes.
Map business processes using BPMN and tools such as ARIS or Camunda.
Elicit, analyse, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
Create functional specifications, process models, use cases, and business rules.
Support workflow automation initiatives using DMN and related technologies.
Collaborate with product owners and Agile teams to refine and prioritise requirements.
Support solution design, development, and implementation by working closely with technical teams.
Plan and support UAT, testing, issue resolution, and stakeholder sign off.
Analyse data and reporting needs, including work with Power BI where relevant.
Explore how AI agents, RPA, Python, and OCR can support business processes.
Maintain clear documentation and help teams keep requirements, processes, and decisions aligned.
What We Are Looking For
Strong experience in business analysis, business process management, and requirements engineering.
Experience working with BPMN and process modelling.
Experience with ARIS, Camunda, or similar BPM tools.
Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and functional specifications.
Knowledge of DMN, business rules, and workflow automation.
Experience working with Agile or Scrum teams and product owners.
Confidence facilitating stakeholder workshops and communicating with business and technical teams.
Experience supporting UAT, testing, and implementation.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to create clarity in complex environments.
Professional fluency in English and the ability to work with international teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with Power BI, data analysis, or data modelling.
Familiarity with GIT and software delivery practices.
Experience with AI agents, RPA, Python, or OCR.
Experience in financial services, insurance, government, or other regulated or process intensive environments.
Experience working on large scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
