Senior Fund Accountant (Private Equity)

Job Summary - We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate – Fund Accounting to handle end-to-end accounting for Private Equity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in LP–GP accounting, capital activities, investor reporting, and hedge fund NAV processes, with a strong understanding of alternative investment structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end Private Equity accounting, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and NAV calculations.
Prepare and review Capital Call notices, distributions, redemptions, and investor statements.· Maintain and reconcile PCAP (Partners’ Capital Accounts) for LPs and GPs (PE funds).
Handle LP–GP accounting, including allocations, profit sharing, expense allocations, and management fee calculations.
Support and execute waterfall calculations as per fund agreements
Manage PE Fund NAV-related activities, including cash & position reconciliation, P&L calculation, and expense accruals.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, fund administrators, and clients for smooth delivery and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in Private Equity Accounting.
Strong understanding of PE fund structures, LP–GP accounting
Experience in Hedge Fund accounting would be an added advantage.
Hands-on experience with: Capital Call notices, Redemptions, PCAP (Partner's Capital Account), Waterfall Calculations, Hedge fund NAV, reconciliations, and investor reporting
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
