Role Description As an Omni Sport Advisor (Part-time // Internship) at Decathlon Nolambur, you will support customers in discovering, choosing, and experiencing sport products that match their needs and skill levels. You will provide knowledgeable, friendly assistance on the shop floor, help organize and replenish stock, and contribute to attractive merchandising and product displays.
You will promote Decathlon’s services and experiences, including events, coaching sessions, and repair or resale initiatives, while actively gathering feedback to improve the customer experience. You will collaborate with teammates to meet store objectives, support basic sales operations, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors. This is a on-site role based in Chennai, with a strong focus on learning, teamwork, and hands-on experience in a sport-oriented retail environment.
Qualifications
Effective Communication skills, including the ability to listen, explain product features clearly, and engage with diverse customers.
Enthusiasm for multiple sports and willingness to continuously learn about new disciplines and equipment.
Customer-focused mindset with a friendly, approachable attitude and commitment to inclusive service.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate in a team, and adapt to a dynamic retail environment.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or peak sport seasons, as needed.
