🔹 Position Summary:
USEReady is looking for a hands-on Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable cloud-native data platforms and data pipelines.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Databricks, and Snowflake, along with experience working with industrial/OT data such as SCADA, PI Systems, Historians, Telemetry, and IoT.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Design and build scalable batch and near-real-time data pipelines.
Integrate data from SCADA, PI Systems, Industrial Historians, Telemetry, IoT, and OT/IT systems.
Work with data across Operations, Engineering, and Finance domains.
Build and implement ETL/ELT, CDC, APIs, and event-driven integrations.
Lead hands-on implementation of Bronze, Silver, and Gold (Medallion Architecture).
Develop enterprise data access services, APIs, and governed data-sharing solutions.
Implement data security, masking, encryption, RBAC, lineage, and metadata management.
Ensure production pipeline reliability through monitoring, alerting, automated testing, reconciliation, and incident response.
Optimize cloud resources, query performance, and storage costs across Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.
Follow engineering best practices including Git/source control, peer reviews, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and automated deployments.

✅ Experience with Batch & Near-Real-Time Data Pipelines
✅ Strong understanding of Data Quality, Observability, Security & Governance
⭐ Good to Have:
CDC and event-driven architectures
APIs and enterprise data integration
CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code
Data lineage and metadata management
RTO/RPO and production incident management
Cloud FinOps and performance optimization
Experience working with Operations, Engineering & Finance data
