Job Overview
We are seeking an enterprise-level SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Lead Consultant with 15+ years of pure SAP SD hands-on expertise for a remote contract assignment. This role is strictly focused on core SAP SD functionality, global template design, complex pricing, and S/4HANA transformations without requiring broader OTC / Order-to-Cash scope. The ideal candidate will serve as the functional lead for SD design, configuration, and execution across global rollouts.
Key Responsibilities
SD Core Architecture & Configuration: Lead end-to-end design and configuration of core SAP SD functionality, including order management, contract management, pricing procedures, availability checks, shipping, and billing execution.
Pricing & Enhancements: Design complex condition techniques, pricing routines (VOFM), user exits, and custom enhancements to meet complex global business requirements.
S/4HANA Transformations: Drive SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration activities for the SD module, including Advanced ATP (aATP), Settlement Management, output control via BRF+, and business partner conversion.
Integration Points: Oversee functional touchpoints with adjacent modules (FI, MM, WM/EWM, PP, TM) and external interfaces via EDI/IDocs and APIs.
Contract Project Delivery: Author clear Functional Specifications (RICEFW), guide ABAP developers, lead testing cycles (UAT/SIT), manage cutover, and provide go-live/hypercare support.
