About The Role
The role owns organic and paid search performance end-to-end: technical SEO, content optimization, keyword strategy, and paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Bing.
Search is a primary acquisition channel for the business, so this role directly drives qualified traffic, conversion volume, and pipeline. Expect to work hands-on with analytics, site architecture, and campaign budgets — not just reports.
Key Responsibilities
Own the SEO roadmap: technical audits, on-page optimization, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals improvements in partnership with engineering
Build and manage paid search campaigns in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including keyword research, bidding strategy, ad copy testing, and budget allocation
Run keyword and competitive research using tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, and Search Console to identify high-intent content and ranking opportunities
Develop and report on KPIs — organic sessions, rankings, CPC, CPA, ROAS — using GA4, Looker Studio, and attribution tooling
Optimize landing pages for conversion, running structured A/B tests on copy, layout, and CTAs
Partner with content and product marketing on SEO briefs, structured data/schema markup, and topical clustering strategies
Manage agency and vendor relationships where applicable, and present search performance to marketing leadership
What We Are Looking For
3-6 years of hands-on SEO and SEM experience, ideally in a B2B or B2C tech environment
Deep proficiency with Google Ads, Search Console, GA4, and at least one major SEO platform (Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz)
Working knowledge of technical SEO: crawlability, indexing, site speed, schema markup, and log-file basics
Track record of measurable results — rankings gained, CPA reduced, or organic pipeline grown
Comfortable with Excel/Sheets for analysis and able to build clear, executive-ready reporting
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Bonus: experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript rendering issues, programmatic SEO, or marketing automation platforms like HubSpot
