Orange Hands is a young company from Bogotá that brings the circular economy into construction: what already exists becomes new, high-quality products. We are preparing our first financing round and are looking for a motivated associate who supports the founders from day one — and grows with the company.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Financial model and key figures: help shape the financial model together with the founders and keep it up to date, run scenarios, prepare the key figures (KPIs) for investors and banks, and make sure deck, teaser and model tell the same story.
• Assumption book: maintain our assumption book and keep checking the assumptions against current market data.
• Investor lists and outreach: research and maintain our investor list (impact and industrial investors, family offices, funds, development banks), prepare the first contact (e-mails, short profiles), schedule meetings and follow up reliably.
• Banks and development finance: prepare our requests to banks, leasing companies, export-credit agencies and development banks (e.g. KfW Group, IDB, Bancóldex) — documents, forms, figures and deadlines.
• Data room and investor questions: set up and maintain the data room; collect investor questions, draft answers and keep track of them.
• Weekly status for the management.
You take part in the founders' meetings and negotiations with investors and banks from the start — and make sure they are perfectly prepared.
WHAT YOU BRING
• About 1–4 years of experience in finance: investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, private equity / venture capital, FP&A or a start-up.
• Strong Excel and financial-modelling skills (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow; basics of valuation).
• Experience with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) for research, analysis and writing is a plus.
• Fluent English, spoken and written — a requirement; fluent Spanish. German is a plus.
• You work independently and reliably from home: lists are up to date, answers go out on time, nothing is left hanging.
• Interest in start-ups, sustainability, construction or the circular economy.
WHAT WE OFFER
• Remote work; meetings with the founders, investors and banks take place in person in Bogotá.
• Until the closing: freelance contract, about 3 days per week, with a fixed monthly fee plus a variable bonus when the financing round closes.
• After the closing: a permanent position in our finance team, with room to grow into investor reporting and treasury.
• Direct work with the founders and real responsibility from the start.
