Skytech Systems also conducts educational seminars to help customers effectively use and understand analytical technologies.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Specialist role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Sales Specialist will identify and develop new business opportunities for analytical instruments and scientific equipment, manage existing accounts and build long-term customer relationships. Daily activities include meeting with customers, understanding technical and application requirements, preparing and delivering product presentations, demonstrations and quotations, and following up on leads to close sales. The role involves coordinating with internal technical and service teams, maintaining accurate sales records, and contributing to sales forecasts and market feedback. The Sales Specialist may also support customer trainings, seminars and exhibitions to promote Skytech Systems’ solutions and services.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills for engaging with customers, internal teams and stakeholders.
Customer Service and relationship-building skills to manage accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
Proven Sales experience in B2B or technical products, preferably in scientific or analytical equipment.
Training and presentation skills to support customer education, seminars and product demonstrations.
Sales Management or pipeline management skills to plan, track and achieve sales targets.
Basic understanding of analytical instruments, laboratory workflows or related scientific domains (preferred).
Ability to work independently in the field, organize schedules and prioritize opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business or a related discipline is advantageous.
Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office for reporting and documentation.
