About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
World Wide Technology (WWT) is a global technology solutions provider leading the AI and digital revolution — over $30 billion in annual revenue, and growing fast. We combine strategy, execution and partnership to help the world's biggest organisations move faster on digital transformation. Our Advanced Technology Center lets clients test and prove new tech before we deploy it at scale, backed by our own global warehousing, distribution and integration capabilities.
In Australia, that scale is already showing up: multi-billion-dollar data center projects underway, and more major AI and technology projects in the pipeline. Just three years in, Australia is WWT's fastest-growing region worldwide — and we're only getting started. This is your chance to help build something from the ground up. Join a tight-knit, values-led team that hires for character as much as capability, and grow your career as the region grows around you.
AI Factory Security Architect | Zero Trust, Kubernetes & AI Security
We're looking for a deeply technical Security Architect to join us on a 12-month contract (with strong potential to extend), designing, building and securing multi-tenant AI factory platforms for regulated and sovereign clients. You'll spend most of your time hands-on in the platform, and the rest as the technical voice in client meetings, working alongside our sales team, who own the commercial conversation, so you can focus on getting the architecture right.
What you'll do
Harden Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift platforms (RBAC, Pod Security, OPA/Kyverno policy-as-code)
Deploy HashiCorp Vault and IAM federation (Keycloak, Microsoft Entra ID)
Build zero-trust tenant isolation using NVIDIA BlueField DPU/DOCA and Confidential Computing, and prove isolation before tenant onboarding
Secure AI workloads with NeMo Guardrails, NVIDIA Morpheus threat detection, and Garak red teaming
Lock down the software and model supply chain (SBOM, Sigstore signing, Falco runtime detection integrated with client SOC/SIEM)
Deliver every control as code (Helm, ArgoCD/Flux) so delivery teams inherit the security baseline by default
Join client and pre-sales meetings as the technical expert: answer the hard security questions, scope workstreams, estimate effort for SOWs and validate the security BOM
Advise on compliance pathways (Essential Eight, IRAP) and explain the GPU-as-a-Service threat model to client technical teams
What you'll bring
Expert-level Kubernetes/OpenShift security, including CIS hardening
Experience with Vault, Keycloak/Entra ID, OIDC/SAML and workload identity
Working knowledge of LLM threat classes (prompt injection, data leakage, model exfiltration)
Python, Ansible, Helm and GitOps proficiency
Familiarity with SBOM tooling, Sigstore, Falco and container registry security
The ability to explain complex security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have
System integrator or MSP background
Security-cleared or sovereign cloud delivery experience; IRAP/Essential Eight exposure
SIEM integration and detection engineering
Cilium and hyperscaler security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
CKS, CISSP, NCA-AIIO or TOGAF
What success looks like
Zero cross-tenant access paths at onboarding, no unsigned or unscanned images in production, all critical and high red-team findings closed before handover, and an accurate, vendor-supported security BOM.
Ready to help shape WWT's future in Australia? Apply now — we'd love to hear from you.
Due to the high volume of applications, we do our best to contact every applicant, but we're not able to respond individually to everyone. Thank you for your understanding.
