Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers at The Bridge | Digital Talent Accelerator is a full-time, on-site position based in Vitoria-Gasteiz. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and supporting volunteers for programs and events, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience for all participants. The Coordinator will schedule and organize volunteer activities, maintain accurate records, and communicate assignments and expectations clearly. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering volunteer training sessions, collaborating with staff to identify volunteer needs, and engaging with local organizations and communities to strengthen outreach efforts. The role also involves monitoring volunteer performance, providing ongoing feedback, and contributing to program improvement through regular reporting and evaluation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Volunteer Management skills, including experience coordinating and supporting volunteer teams.
Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Training, with the ability to design and deliver clear, practical training sessions.
Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, motivate volunteers, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Candidates should possess Community Outreach experience, with the capacity to develop partnerships and engage local organizations and groups.
Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in Vitoria-Gasteiz and collaborating in a multicultural, interdisciplinary environment.
Experience in education, social impact, or nonprofit settings, and proficiency in relevant digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM or volunteer management platforms) are beneficial.
A relevant post-secondary qualification or equivalent experience in community management, social work, education, or a related field is preferred.
