Senior Finance Manager

Role Description This full-time remote Senior Finance Manager role at Engage Flow Coaching is responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic and operational decisions. The Senior Finance Manager will oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting, analyze variances, and provide clear insights and recommendations to leadership. The role includes managing cash flow, monitoring key financial metrics, and ensuring accurate, compliant accounting practices. This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on pricing, cost analysis, and profitability initiatives, as well as support audit activities and continuous improvement of financial processes and tools.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably in a service-oriented or coaching/consulting environment.
Strong skills in financial analysis, reporting, and variance analysis, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, including experience with financial statements, reconciliations, and internal controls.
Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and advanced spreadsheet/modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets); experience with business intelligence tools is beneficial.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, managing priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations across dispersed teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance partners.
Proven leadership capabilities, including mentoring team members and contributing to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; a relevant advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, MBA) is a plus.
Experience in strategic planning, scenario analysis, and supporting organizational growth or transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
