VP / SVP of Operations

Proto Candor is seeking an experienced VP / SVP of Operations to join our leadership team and help drive operational excellence and sustainable growth. This role will be responsible for developing scalable operational strategies, improving business processes, and working closely with senior leadership to support company-wide objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and execute the company’s operational strategy and priorities.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure efficient execution across business functions.
• Develop scalable processes, systems, and performance standards to support growth.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, productivity, and cost management.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, Sales, and other functional leaders on strategic initiatives.
• Lead resource planning, budgeting, and operational forecasting.
• Identify operational risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing operations teams.
• Provide regular operational updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
• 12+ years of progressive operations or business leadership experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a senior management or executive leadership role preferred.
• Proven experience building and scaling operational teams and processes.
• Strong business judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, vendors, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
