Regional Director – Middle East

Role Description The Regional Director – Middle East will lead business development, client relationship management, and regional growth initiatives across key markets in the Middle East. This part-time, remote role includes identifying and pursuing new projects, building strategic partnerships, and representing MAW Engineering in meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. The Regional Director will coordinate with internal engineering and consultancy teams to align regional opportunities with service capabilities, support proposal development, and oversee contract negotiations. The role also involves monitoring market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive activity to inform regional strategy and ensure high-quality, compliant, and timely service delivery.
Qualifications
Proven experience in regional leadership or business development within engineering, construction, or related sectors in the Middle East.
Strong knowledge of structural engineering services, including design, detailed engineering, consultancy, project supervision, and technical support.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, manage key accounts, and develop strategic partnerships.
Familiarity with Middle East market dynamics, regulatory environments, and tendering processes for engineering and construction projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.
Willingness to travel within the Middle East region as needed for client visits, project reviews, and industry events.
