Manager, Management Accounting and Business Services

ROLE OVERVIEW
In this role as Manager of the Management Accounting and Business Services team in Manila, you will be responsible for overseeing the team and ensuring that high-quality financial accounting, business advisory, and business management services are provided to our institutional and corporate clients. Your expertise and leadership will be integral in driving the success of the team and delivering tailored, specialized outcomes for our clients. By effectively managing the team and providing guidance and support, you will be making a significant impact on the success of Corporate Advantage and the satisfaction of our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage the Accounting and Finance Services team in Manila to ensure that high-quality financial management services are provided to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure that the team is operating efficiently and effectively, and that all work is completed to a high standard.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, including mentorship and coaching, to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
• Act as a primary point of contact for the Australian team, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that their needs are being met.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments within the company to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Monitor and report on team performance, including tracking key metrics such as productivity, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as all relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to improve the overall effectiveness of the team.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the financial management or accounting industry
• Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management software
• Professional accounting or finance qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, CFA) is highly desirable.
