About the role and team
Working at Uber means solving hard problems in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment. As an Employee Data Admin within People Operations, you will be the guardian of our workforce data integrity, ensuring that the information powering our global scale is accurate and compliant. You will navigate the complex digital architecture of Oracle HCM to bridge the gap between our people strategy and real-world execution.
This role is for someone who thrives on precision while managing the messiness of mass data shifts and organizational changes. You’ll need to balance a deep technical focus on data audits and Oracle HDL loads with the interpersonal grit required to unblock stakeholders and resolve sensitive data discrepancies. If you are energized by the challenge of maintaining order within high-ambiguity environments and take extreme ownership of your output, this is where you’ll grow.
What you’ll do
Perform complex mass data loads into Oracle HCM using HDL templates, ensuring accuracy and compliance for thousands of global records.
Navigate shifting priorities and internal complexity to consult with People Partners on organizational changes and job updates.
Own the data audit process to identify discrepancies and ensure SOX compliance across the employee lifecycle.
Build and maintain custom reports and metrics to provide real-world business insights into human capital data.
Unblock technical hurdles during Oracle HCM upgrades by leading testing for security access and business processes.
Lead the development of standard operating procedures to simplify complex data governance for non-technical stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
2 + years of progressive experience working with employee data in an HRIS.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Oracle HCM or similar enterprise-level data systems.
Experience managing data integrity and compliance standards.
Hands-on experience with Oracle HDL (HCM Data Loader) for large-scale data manipulation.
Strong systems thinking with the ability to simplify complex data structures for self-service.
Proven ability to work well in ambiguity and manage high-pressure stakeholder deadlines.
